Eligibility Criteria
- Age Limit (on 30.09.2024):
- General/EWS: 30 years
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 33 years
- SC/ST: 35 years
- PwBD: Additional relaxation up to 10-15 years as per category.
- Educational Qualification:
- Discipline-specific qualifications such as Postgraduate degrees, MBA, B.E./B.Tech, or other professional qualifications with a minimum of 60% marks.
Note:
- Final-year students may also apply, provided they submit the final results during document verification.

CIL MT Recruitment 2025 Selection Process
The selection process comprises the following stages:
- Computer-Based Online Test (CBT):
- Two papers (Paper I & II), 100 marks each.
- Paper I: General Knowledge, Reasoning, Numerical Ability, and English.
- Paper II: Professional Knowledge (Discipline-specific).
- No negative marking.
- Minimum qualifying marks:
- General/EWS: 40 marks per paper
- OBC: 35 marks per paper
- SC/ST/PwBD: 30 marks per paper
- Document Verification (DV) and Initial Medical Examination (IME):
- Candidates shortlisted based on merit will be called for document verification and medical examination.
- Final Merit List:
- Based on CBT scores only.
