Unique opportunity to join the university wide efforts of the
BU Graduate Program for Neuroscience (GPN) that serves the neuroscience faculty and student community across the campuses of BU, interfacing
with 9 different departments that are in four different schools. We are looking to hire a full-time Administrative Coordinator who will be
responsible for helping to maintain the administrative flow of the Graduate Program for Neuroscience across the campuses so that we can
provide the BU community with an enhanced training environment that reflects the One BU vision. This position will support the efforts of
the GPN leadership team, Director and Assistant Director.

This position is located on the Charles River Campus with occasional travel
to the BU Medical Campus in Boston’s South End. In particular, the position entails the following: help with the maintenance of student
files (that include their milestones to the degree, academic performance, and graduate school compliance), creating and updating databases
to supply information and statistics for reports, help with coordination of travel for student recruitment and for distinguished
lecturers/junior investigators and the Neuroscience Retreat including the creation of internal service requests and purchase orders, direct
contact with students and faculty in the office and at community social events as a facilitator, help with updating of the Neuroscience
Website and Neurodome communication portal, and assistance with student affairs (student reimbursements and payments). GPN is the home of a

Required Skills

Associate’s Degree required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred. 1-3 years of
work experience preferred.
