A break-in at Selling Sunset star Mary Fitzgerald Bonnet’s home in Los Angeles has occurred, Us Weekly can confirm.

A representative for the Los Angeles Police Department media relations team confirmed that the burglary took place on Sunday, January 19. An investigation is ongoing.

TMZ was first to report the news, claiming that thieves entered Fitzgerald Bonnet, 44, and husband Romain Bonnet’s residence through an unlocked door. They allegedly stole over $130,000 worth of jewelry, handbags and more luxury items. Per the outlet, Fitzgerald Bonnet and Bonnet, 31, were not home at the time of the incident.

Neither reality TV personality has publicly addressed the robbery.

Fitzgerald Bonnet and the contractor have been married since 2019, which was featured on season 2 of Selling Sunset. They have since been candid about their struggles to expand their family. Fitzgerald Bonnet, who welcomed son Austin when she was a teenager, also suffered a septic miscarriage in 2023.

“It’s not going to be as easy as we thought it would,” she exclusively told Us Weekly in April 2024. “I’ve had plenty of time to process and, in the beginning, it wasn’t easy. I think that I’ve really taken a stance, and it’s become a passion of mine to raise awareness for women’s issues.”

She added, “I think it’s so common now. So, I’m being very forward on that front. But when it comes to myself, there’s not a lot I can do about it. Whatever happens, happens but in the meantime, I’m going to try to help other women.”

Bonnet has supported his wife through the fertility struggles.

“Obviously, she has to take care of herself and then make sure that everything is good,” Bonnet told Us at the time. “I don’t want to put any pressure. Obviously, if it happens, that would be great. … We’re gonna see how it goes.”

Two years earlier, Fitzgerald Bonnet told Us that they went through multiple rounds of embryo freezing and were also “just trying naturally.”

“He’s like, ‘Come on, we need to try more! Practice makes perfect.’ So, we’re not being crazy about it or anything, but we’re just trying naturally,” she told Us in December 2022. “Then, when things slow down we’ll do another round if it doesn’t work naturally.”

At the time, Fitzgerald Bonnet predicted that Bonnet would be an “incredible” parent one day.

“He is going to be the most amazing dad, because I had some reservations going into it, because I did it on my own, but he’s going to be amazing,” she gushed to Us. “He’s so loving and responsible and thoughtful, so he’s going to be great with a kid.”
