GENERAL PURPOSE

Serve as front-line
staff for the Student Affairs office handling in-person, phone, and email traffic. Perform a variety of administrative duties that
facilitate day-to-day operations of the Student Affairs office and provide exemplary customer service for students and Molloy community
members. Assist in all relevant program planning and logistics for student and office programming including room reservations, work orders,
payment requests, and receipt and fund reconciliation. Supervise and support work-study students. Provide administrative support for the
Dean of Students.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serves as the first point of contact for both
    internal and external constituents visiting the Student Affairs office. Resolves issues and/or directs individuals to the current person or
    resource within the organization with minimal supervision.
  • Plans and schedules events, prepares reports and maintains files and
    databases. Prepares correspondence, schedules and confirms appointments, shares documents, and other materials, and arranges travel.
  • Manages the schedule for the Dean of Students, including prioritizing requests and resolving scheduling conflicts. Makes
    suggestions to more efficiently run the department or unit. Initiates, schedules, and/or monitors the processing of hiring requests, budget
    transfers, contracts, requisitions, supplies, and room reservation and setup.
  • Writes and edits internal communications. May assist
    supervisor in the development of public materials (e.g., brochures, websites, advertisements).
  • May lead a team of non-exempt
    employees to achieve a desired outcome. Manages workstream for the group and ensures achievement of objectives.

REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 3 to 5 years of work related experience
  • Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

SALARY INFORMATION

When
determining the salary offer for a new employee, Molloy considers several key characteristics such as job knowledge, skills, and experience
as well as internal and external equity. The hiring hourly rate for this position is $23.00 to $25.00. This hourly rate represents the
University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of compensation at the time of posting.
