TikTok personality Kate Steinberg was in complete disbelief that she won a new car on an episode of The Price Is Right — but no one was more surprised than her fiancé, Chad Savage.
“She wasn’t messing with me,” Chad, 33, captioned a Thursday, December 26, TikTok video of a FaceTime call he received from Kate, 32.
Kate, who got engaged to Chad on the 2020 Max dating show 12 Dates of Christmas, appeared on a recent broadcast of The Price Is Right. After game show host Drew Carey proclaimed that she won, Kate ran from her podium to give him a big hug.
“Ah, I need a car,” Kate proclaimed before running around the stage. She later shared footage on her TikTok page with the caption, “Pinch me.”
After the taping wrapped, Kate FaceTimed her fiancé to share the good news.
“Did you win something? No, you didn’t,” he said. “See, you mess with me too much. You’re like the boy who cried wolf. Alright, show me the car.”

After Kate shared the Price Is Right footage, Chad filmed himself watching the TV with his mouth agape. He also jokingly dropped a bag of chips that was in his hand.
Kate is a social media star with over 2 million followers on TikTok, best known for satirical videos about millennial trends from the late 1990s and the early 2000s. Chad, for his part, often uploads videos “exposing” the behind-the-scenes side of Kate’s content.

“I did a lot of dating, single content. I’ve been on the app for a long time,” Kate detailed her content creator role during a September episode of “The Shift” podcast. “Things didn’t start taking off for me … until 2021. It’s 2024 and I still feel like I’m still hustling on the app.”

She added, “The thing that lit me up inside was talking about nostalgia. I’ve always remembered feeling, like, I had so much knowledge about nostalgia for the early 2000s and I had nowhere to put this plethora of, like, knowledge until I found TikTok.”
Kate, who often makes comedy skits about American Girl dolls, Abercrombie and more, brought her signature sense of humor to Max’s 12 Dates of Christmas. On the 2020 reality show, Kate was one of Chad’s suitors. After developing an effortless connection, he proposed during the season finale.
“This actually makes me really happy,” Chad gushed in a TikTok video earlier this month, recapping Kate’s dating show introduction.
