JOB SUMMARY:
Under minimal supervision, this position ensures the effective delivery of training, support services, and other online learning resources to faculty and staff across all campuses. This position is responsible for the day-to-day coordination of training sessions and maintenance of the online learning environment. Additionally, the Coordinator supervises training logistics, provides direct assistance during sessions, and ensures alignment with institutional goals for online learning and professional development for faculty and staff.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Plan, schedule, and manage logistics for online learning training sessions on all campuses.

Deliver basic training on using Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other tools.

Prepare and provide data or reports to instructional designers and LMS admins.

Act as the primary point of contact for online learning training coordination, and as a liaison between departments to align training goals with organizational objectives.

Ensure smooth information flow between instructional designers, LMS admins, and staff. Analyze training data and feedback to inform future training priorities.

Create and maintain quick-reference guides and training materials.

Maintain records of training sessions, schedules, and participant progress.

Assist with troubleshooting minor LMS issues and inquiries during training sessions.

Completes all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution; OR demonstrated experience scheduling events, training and partnering with outside departments to meet their needs.

Outstanding customer service skills both on the telephone and face-to-face.

Two (2) years of experience in a higher education or technology setting preferred.

Excellent problem-solving, patience and a customer-friendly attitude required.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with key college stakeholders, including students, faculty, college administrators, and community members.

Demonstrated proficiency in the use of instructional computing applications including learning management systems, web-conferencing systems, online proctoring services, and Web 2.0 applications.

Ability to travel between campuses for meetings or position responsibilities.
-
This position includes some night and weekend shifts, as scheduled.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
This position requires an ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, lift, reach up, stoop, and carry items occasionally in excess of twenty-five (25) pounds. It also requires manual dexterity to operate standard office machines, such as, copier, fax, calculator, telephone, and other equipment as necessary. IRSC expects its employees to follow proper safety standards while employed by the College.
