- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Master’s degree in Student Affairs/Higher Education/College Student Personnel/Counseling or related field preferred
- 1-2 years of professional experience in higher education
- Supervisory experience preferred
- Experience in orientation, new student programs or student activities preferred
- Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks and effectively work on a team
- Ability to communicate effectively with others and foster professional relationships within a complex environment of diverse students, staff, and faculty
- Must also possess a strong commitment to student development in higher education at an urban, Catholic University
- Knowledge of college student development theories
- Program planning and strategic planning skills
- Public speaking and group facilitation experience
- Appreciation for and commitment to multiculturalism and diversity issues
- Some evening and weekend work required.
The anticipated hiring range for this position is: $47,783.00 to $54,000.00 per year.
The salary range provided in this posting reflects what we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Actual compensation offered or earned is dependent on experience, education and other factors including departmental budget.
