ONGC Geoscience & Engineering Disciplines Vacancy Selection Process
1)The selection process begins with a Computer-Based Test (CBT) comprising four sections: General Awareness, Concerned Subject, English Language, and Aptitude Test, with a total duration of 2 hours. The CBT score will be used to shortlist candidates in a 1:5 ratio for the Personal Interview stage. In case of a tie at the cut-off, all such candidates will be shortlisted.
2)Shortlisted candidates will participate in a Group Discussion, followed by a Personal Interview. The final selection will be based on a total score of 100 marks, including 85 marks for the CBT and 15 marks for the Personal Interview.
3)To qualify in the CBT, candidates from General/EWS/OBC categories must score at least 45%, while SC/ST/PwBD candidates need a minimum of 40%.
4)For the Personal Interview, General/EWS/OBC candidates must secure a minimum of 60% marks (9 out of 15), while SC/ST/PwBD candidates require a minimum of 40% marks (6 out of 15).
5)Candidates must qualify in both the CBT and Personal Interview separately to be empanelled, meeting the minimum required marks in each stage in addition to fulfilling all eligibility criteria.
6)After that Merit List is Prepared and Candidates are selected on basis of it.
