Taylor Swift is “recouping” after wrapping up her Eras Tour in December 2024 — but she’s already looking toward her future, including her plans with boyfriend Travis Kelce.
After going nonstop with the Eras Tour, performing 149 shows across five continents, Swift, 35, is “spending a lot of time in New York and catching up with friends,” a source exclusively reveals in the latest issue of Us Weekly.
The Grammy winner has also been making time for personal projects. At the top of her priority list is making a few renovations to her seaside Rhode Island mansion.
Swift plans to expand the house by 400 square feet, the insider says, noting that the singer wants to revamp one bedroom into an “enlarged bedroom suite” that will cost $1.7 million.

“She’s hoping to get it ready for the summer,” the source says of the estate, the home of Swift’s annual 4th of July parties the singer has hosted since 2013 when she purchased the mansion.
Renovating her beach escape isn’t the only property Swift reportedly has her eyes on this year. The musician is also toying with the idea of purchasing a place in Kansas City, where Kelce, 35, is based.
“When they have time, they want to look at real estate,” the source says of the couple, adding that they’ve “talked about exploring buying a home together.”

Swift and Kelce began dating in summer 2023 after Kelce failed to give Swift his phone number via a friendship bracelet during her Eras Tour stop in Kansas City that July. The two eventually did connect and in September 2023, Swift attended her first Kansas City Chiefs game to cheer on the tight end.
“Shout-out to Taylor for pulling up. That was pretty ballsy,” Kelce said during a September 2023 episode of the “New Heights” podcast after Swift publicly confirmed their romance.
He gushed: “She looked amazing … and on top of that, the day went perfect for Chiefs fans. We script it all, ladies and gentlemen. It was absolutely electric.”
Swift, meanwhile, told TIME in November 2023 that her Chiefs game debut wasn’t anywhere near the first time she and Kelce were interacting.
“We actually had a significant amount of time that no one knew, which I’m grateful for, because we got to get to know each other,” Swift explained. “By the time I went to that first game, we were a couple. I think some people think that they saw our first date at that game? We would never be psychotic enough to hard launch a first date.”
More than a year into their relationship, Swift is an active part of the Chiefs Kingdom and a staple at the NFL games, including the Chiefs’ Super Bowl victory in February 2024.
Last weekend, Swift was spotted cheering on Kelce as his team secured their bid to Super Bowl LIX when they beat the Buffalo Bills. After the AFC Championship game on Sunday, January 26, Swift was photographed embracing her boyfriend on the field before sharing a passionate kiss.
“They’ve had a lot of time together since she’s been off tour and during the holidays,” the source tells Us of Swift and Kelce’s recent hangouts. “They work so well [and] they’re still madly in love.”
The insider adds that the NFL player’s relationship with Swift “just keeps getting better.”
